The "What have I learned so far???" exercises below are ideal for weekly homework. There are two sides to each sheet; a Rigour Recap section and an Exam Questions section - be sure to print them back to back!
The exercises contain mixed practice. Every week, each exercise introduces a new topic while revisiting previous ones in order to improve retrieval skills. The topics are introduced using our course order - you may wish to download it and use it too. If not, it should be a handy tool to help explain the order of the topics in these exercise sheets. To download our course order, click here.
The exercise sheets are designed to be write-on format encouraging neat and tidy solutions. Each question is linked to a specific outcome in the Higher Mathematics Online Learning Portal where students can access a video showing them how to answer each question - so there are NO EXCUSES for leaving questions blank!
To download the exercises, simply click on the links below. This area is still a work in progress so only underlined exercises are currently available.

Track and Monitor your class performance with the recording grid below. The Rigour Recap Section is marked as a score out of 5 but the Exam Questions section should be marked as it would be in an exam. This gives a student two percentages, one for each side of the exercise sheet. These percentages can be entered into the recording grid below under the relevant exercise number. This generates pupil and class averages which should be very useful both for individual pupil and class reflectionsand analysis. "Copying" (ctr C) a row of pupil data and "pasting" (ctr V) into the "Generator" provides an instant Rigour Report for these exercises which may be useful at Pupil Progress evenings.
