National 5 Maths SQA Pastpapers

Welcome to our National 5 Mathematics SQA Pastpaper section! There are two ways you can attempt these papers; viewing electronically or by printing a paper copy. They are accessed simply by clicking the links below.

Each question paper is linked to full video solutions for each question. Either click on the link if viewing electronically or scan the QR code if using a paper copy.

After each attempt at each question paper, your percentages should be recorded in the analysis grid below. You should be attempting a pastpaper as many times as it takes until you are scoring highly in it. Crucially, you should go to the Online Learning Portal to attempt the video lessons on your areas of weakness as part of your independant learning process. These lessons are clearly indicated at the end of each question. Mix up the years and paper types, have fun and get improving!

Feel free to download our Pupil Recording Grid below to track your progress. You should be aiming to complete each pastpaper several times until you have a score that you are happy with.

Once you have completed a pastpaper, simply enter your paper 1, paper 2 and overall percentages. The spreadsheet will then graph your progress so you have an idea of your overall attainment. This should also keep you focused on your areas for development.
