To run the tutorials simply click on the video you wish to play remembering to pause the video when attempting the questions! You should work through the exercises and homework in a squared jotter to keep all your work together. You should mark every section as soon as you finish it and write down your score.
For certain areas you will need a scientific calculator like the casio fx-85GT PLUS.
Once you have practiced the skills, be sure to see if you can apply them in the Applications questions at the bottom of the page. These questions should be revisited every so often as it is important to revise previous work so you don't forget it. Good luck! :)

Now that you’ve practiced the skills, let’s see if you can apply them! In this section you will find application questions on patterns and relationships. They may be set in a context, they could be a puzzle to solve or you may have to use a number of skills to solve the problems.
There are 8 questions in total here and you can answer them in ANY order at ANY time you like. Any questions that you don't get correct should be noted down and tried again at a later date - that's how we improve!

Question 1 - How many people can you fit round a given number of tables? Let's see if you can work out the answer!
Question 2 - Simple patterns can occur when making jewellry. Try this question to see if you can spot the necklace pattern!
Question 3 - You would be surpised the amount of fun you can have making hexagons with matches! See if you can answer this question.
Question 4 - An interesting pattern can be made by drawing hexagons. Can you draw any more patterns in the sequence???
