Silver increases the skill level by bringing in factorising into outcome 2 and some of those nasty negatives into outcome 3.

In gold level you are required to factorise trinomials with more than 1 squared term. You may feel the need to revise the factorising module in the Expressions & Formulae unit first if you haven't yet developed those skills. Outcome 3 introduces double negatives when solving using the Quadratic Formula. Good luck!
