Bronze tutorials are typically unit assessment standard with the silver tutorials providing typical "exam type" questions as examples. If you can manage these you should try our more advanced gold tutorials containing the more unpleasant "exam type" questions. Typically as you work through the modules, the difficulty of the skills increase by one step ensuring smooth progression. You should already be familiar with right-angled trigonometry (SOH CAH TOA) from 4th Level Maths. You should also know how to calculate the area of a triangle when given the base and the perpendicular height from 3rd Level Numeracy. This bronze module introduces you to 3 new formulae; the area of a triangle, the sine rule and the cosine rule.

Before you use the formula there will be an additional calculation required at silver level.

At gold level, we work backwards with area calculations and use the sine rule and cosine rules to find angles.
